Rooms of Blooms – Paine Art Center

In Wisconsin, most of us live in 2 seasons. The first being “Yay it is Summer, bring on the swimming pools, beaches and sun” and the second being, “when is it going to be summer again!” With our winter finally coming to an end, or so it seems, we begin transitioning into the beauty of springtime. That means later sunsets, blooming flowers, and the birds chirping way too early in the morning again! To honor the coming of spring, The Paine Art and Gardens in Oshkosh, Wisconsin puts on their Rooms of Blooms each year. They fill the mansion with flowers galore, the smell engulfs you as you walk in the door and it sure is a beautiful site to see. The gallery is filled with portraits and flower arrangements that coincide with each image, telling their own unique stories. These flow into the rest of the mansion on various walls with a floral arrangement below. Each room of the Mansion has been adorned with beautiful floral arrangements on various fireplace mantles, side tables and even intricately in vintage jewelry boxes. As you make your way through the mansion there was a beautiful feature of bridal dresses from Erika’s Bridal Couture as well as cakes from Tamara’s the Cake Guru. Filling the main room in the Mansion were table designs by various local area vendors, each designed uniquely. In the conservatory there was a large display created by The Paine Art Centers Horticulturalist, Shelia Glaske. It featured a very calming, Feng Shui feel to it with a rock garden, green center floral display with goldfish surrounded by greenery and a large display in the window to tie it all together. If you haven’t already seen these on our Instagram this past weekend, take a peek now!

The floral arrangements were beyond beautiful thank you for creating something so beautiful to capture:
