What is a Lifestyle Newborn Session?

So you want to know a bit more about lifestyle newborn sessions and what goes into them. I’ve got you covered! Lifestyle newborn sessions are portrait sessions that take place within the month of babies arrival date and are photographed in your home. There are a few main reasons we capture these moments in your home.

1. You get memories in the place where baby will be growing up. Memories of the room, their decorations and more. Over time when things change and they grow up you will always have those memories to look back on.
2. You don’t have to haul all of the baby things & baby to another shooting location. You have everything you need in the comfort of your own home. Extra diapers, food & more all at your fingertips so you dont have to worry about forgetting anything!
3. Babies are just starting to get comfortable in their own home so why not allow them to be comfortable throughout the session in somewhere they are use to the sounds and smells of.
4. Siblings, Significant others & Pets can easily come and go throughout the session. It allows for them to be involved when we need them but not have to be waiting quietly somewhere, they are able to watch the game, play with their toys or even let the dog outside while we capture babies portraits.
