A City Romance

City romance meets little black dress paired with the perfect suit and tie. Mat and Mariah were the perfect models to bring this styled shoot idea to life. I wanted to capture a feeling of the past mixed with present. The classic black dress and suit(and bow-tie!) brought the elegance along with the historical feel of the city scapes. While I decided to edit a majority of these as black and white to keep that vintage feeling alive, I couldn’t help but to add in some color too. It is amazing what you can create even with two people who had just met for the first time. We all shared in many laughs, and way too much heat this night and not just between these two….the temps were ones that had us all sweating. I think my favorite part is reliving the funny, silly, happy moments all over again as I look back on the photographs. I hope you all enjoy them as much as I enjoyed spending time with these two.
