Steve & Jayme

Jayme and Steve met at an academic gathering and happened to introduce themselves to one another and hit it off from there! On New Year’s Eve they took the kids to Fire Studio to paint pottery.  Jayme left the table and came back to a painted plate saying “Will You Marry Me?” and the date.  Jayme’s youngest daughter handed the ring to her and the entire family was part of the story. They love biking, traveling and spending time with the kids and one of their favorite vacations was when they went biking across Italy and took time to see the entire country-side while biking through it.  They were able to go a day or two early and spend time in Rome and enjoy the wonderful culture, food, wine and hills of Italy. For their honeymoon they spent a couple days in Chicago after all the wedding planning, where they were able to see Hamilton. When I asked Steve and Jayme what they loved most about the other, I had to laugh because their answers were almost exactly the same! Steve said he loves Jayme’s ability to enjoy life and Jayme loves Steve’s sense of humor and outlook on life.

 Laughter and love were two huge parts of Jayme and Steve’s day surrounded by so many of their family and friends. Their wedding took place at Riverview Gardens in Appleton where there wasn’t a dry eye in the house as Steve told Jayme’s girls how he was so excited to become a part of their family. The girls were so fun to hang out with and all of their family and friends were so excited to celebrate with the new Mr. & Mrs. I am so happy to have captured the start of their story and I am so excited for them to create new memories as a new family.
